Insomnia

The sun has set
Yet I’m awake
It seems I just can’t sleep
All the worries
Of the day
Into my mind do creep
I wish I could just shut them off
But
It is not to be
As much as I might wish for it
There is no peace for me
All these things
I know are wrong
And know not what to do
Swim around inside my head
And in my conscience to
But I must leave them for tonight
That is for sure what's best
Answers will be easier
Once I’ve had some rest
