Today I started something new
I felt a wave of fear.
But it was something I must do
that to me was clear.
It is such a scary thing
to bare your soul this way.
But I know that when I look back
I won't regret this day.
If I can just get past the fear
it will help me grow.
It will bring on changes
in ways I do not know.
Growing is important
without it we go stale.
Growing is in doing
even when we fail.
So I will do this scary thing
and I will face the fear.
Because then at the very least
you'll know I was here.
